Terms of Service

1. Who we are

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the websites, web applications, and mobile applications operated by ZeezTech — the trade name of the proprietorship registered as "ZEEZ TECH" (Udyam Registration UDYAM-TS-02-0321146, GSTIN 36DVLPA7435Q2ZW), with registered office at Ground Floor, 8-2-403/6/5, KBR Park Road Number 2, Subdalaya, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad 500034, Telangana, India ("ZeezTech", "we", "us", "our"). Our products include the MySchoolApp web dashboard, the MySchoolApp mobile application for Android and iOS (also marketed as "SchoolHQ"), and other business applications listed on zeeztech.com.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, signing in, installing one of our mobile apps, or otherwise using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

3. Eligibility & accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or a school employee / parent / legal guardian acting on behalf of an enrolled student, to create an account.
  • Schools, school staff, teachers, parents, and students receive credentials provisioned by their school. The school is responsible for ensuring that the people it invites are authorised to access student data.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password, OTP, and device secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

4. Permitted use

You may use the services only for their intended purpose — running a school's day-to-day operations, communicating with the school community, paying fees, tracking attendance and homework, and operating school transport. You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from any part of our services.
  • Access another user's account without authorisation.
  • Upload malware, spam, or unlawful content.
  • Scrape or harvest data through automated means without our written consent.
  • Use the services to harass, defame, or share content that violates Indian law.
  • Interfere with the operation of the services, for example by attempting denial-of-service or rate-limit bypass.

5. School data & roles

When ZeezTech is engaged by a school, the school is the data controller for student and parent records hosted in our platform, and ZeezTech acts as a data processor on the school's instruction. Schools are responsible for the accuracy of the records they upload, for obtaining any consents required from parents, and for granting and revoking access to staff. 6. Payments & refunds

Where the services involve payments (for example, school fees, subscription fees, or one-time setup fees), payments are processed by Razorpay. Card and UPI details are entered into Razorpay's hosted checkout and are not stored on our servers. Refunds, where applicable, follow the policy of the school collecting the fee, or, for ZeezTech subscriptions, the terms agreed in the relevant order form or proposal. Taxes are charged as applicable under Indian GST law (GSTIN 36DVLPA7435Q2ZW).

7. Mobile app permissions

The MySchoolApp mobile app requests permissions (location, camera, microphone, photo library, push notifications) only when needed for a specific feature you have asked to use. You can decline or revoke any permission at any time from your device settings — the related feature will then be unavailable. 8. Intellectual property

All software, design, trademarks, and content provided by ZeezTech (including, without limitation, the ZeezTech, MySchoolApp, and SchoolHQ marks and logos) are owned by ZeezTech and are protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws. Content uploaded by you (homework, announcements, messages, payments) remains your property, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, transmit, and display it as strictly necessary to operate the services.

9. Third-party services

The services rely on third-party providers (Razorpay, Twilio, SendGrid, WhatsApp Business, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Mapbox, xAI / OpenAI, Cloudflare). Outages or changes at those providers may affect availability. We are not liable for losses caused by third-party providers except as required by applicable law.

10. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may, from time to time, suspend the services for maintenance, security patches, or to address abuse. Where reasonably possible we will give advance notice of planned maintenance.

11. Termination

You may stop using the services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if your school terminates its agreement with us, or if continued provision of the service would expose us to legal risk. On termination, your right to use the services ends; data retention is handled per the Privacy Policy.

12. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, ZeezTech's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the services is limited to the amount you (or your school) paid to us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or INR 10,000, whichever is higher. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

13. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules, the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. If a change is material, we will give notice in-app or by email before it takes effect.
